1987 (#1) - The Forrester Family and the fashion house Forrester Creations

The Forrester family has always been synonymous with elegance, style and wealth. At the helm of the world-famous fashion house Forrester Creations, the Forresters live in their luxurious Beverly Hills mansion, leading a life of ease and comfort. However, the head of the family Eric Forrester has not forgotten the sacrifices and efforts of a lifetime made to achieve success; success that has not made him any less humble and that probably, despite his talent, he would have never achieved if it were not for the financial help received from the family of his wife Stephanie Douglas. The matriarch Stephanie, in fact, is the daughter of the powerful magnate John Douglas, whose funding allowed his son-in-law to become not only the most successful designer in all of Los Angeles, but also the president of the Forrester fashion empire. Eric and Stephanie, now married for twenty-five years, have had five children. The eldest son, Ridge, is the most ambitious and the most talented in the field of fashion, with an instinctive and irresistible character. Then there is Thorne, a boy much more shy and insecure than the eldest, with a kind, rational and calm soul, followed by younger sisters Kristen and Felicia, both rebellious and independent, who seem uninterested in following in their parents' footsteps in the fashion house. Finally, there is Angela, Eric and Stephanie's third child, who died at birth due to severe brain microcephaly.
